Another Poem About Ophelia

This is a poem with two sets of lines that can be read separately or as complete sentences. Vertical bars (|) represent separations in lines. Forward slashes (/) represent line breaks. The poem reads as follows: mother in law | water in lungs / when you find me | going blue as the creek / i will be singing | under the boughs / in white | wretched burdensome wool / that fans out like fins | cloaking tangling sinking / in a veil of flowers | that i cant take off / a crown of them too | columbine and buttercup / one for myself | nightshade and bluebell / one for your son | who did this to me? / tell me gertrude | who held my head beneath? / do you know | who shook the willow branch? / what it's like | to choke on your own phlegm | swimming in a dress / in a freezing rushing brook | if that sounds like it / is one of the worst ways to go / must be a nightmare / try / drowning / in / one
